Calke Abbey Line Drawings

August 2nd, 2019

After a bit of a wander round Calke yesterday, it's time to make something so I thought I'd turn this picture of St Giles Church into a little artwork.
St Giles Church

Not too tricky apart from removing the distortion from the camera lens. The final piece came out like this and is available in the shop.

After that a bit of light relief drawing a stack of sheep. Its always fun to stack animals, not sure why. The laser machine didn't like the sheep so a couple of hours were spent cleaning and adjusting. This was the first draft, needs a bit of tidying up and some more detail.

This is the final version renamed to "The Woolstack".
